The University of Nairobi, Mombasa Campus staff and students, led by the Campus Director, Dr. Sarah Kinyanjui and the University of Nairobi Alumni Association, Mombasa Chapter Chairman, Mr. Mark Nyandiko handed over foodstuff and sanitary towels to H.E. Governor Joho in support of the Mombasa County Household Relief Project. The Campus remains cognisant that the war against COVID 19 requires individual and collective effort. Many thanks to all staff, students and UoN alumni who contributed in cash or kind.

University of Nairobi Vice-Chancellor Prof.Kiama  will join other panelist in the Nation Leadership Forum which will be aired live of Nation Television to discuss the impact of Covid-19 on Education.It will be streamed live on Nation Television.

At the University of Nairobi,our very own Games Tutor Judith Kinoti has been keeping fit by having a mountain hiking at the Ngong Hills together with some of her colleagues and students.

Judith Kinoti -Games Tutor for CHSS and CBPS and a member of the Kenya Volleyball Federation visit to State House.The KVF members visited state house and held a meeting with the President HE.Uhuru Kenyatta.

Basketball (men and women) teams were playing in the Kenya Basketball Federation National league. Both teams were ranked in 1st position. Indeed, the two teams were featuring in the local print media and Televisions. The league was terminated mid-march 2020 due to the ongoing covid -19 pandemic.

FASU-Africa University Sports is searching for hosts of Africa University sports events 2021-2026. University of Nairobi Hosted the 7th Edition in 2014.Kenyatta University was to host this year’s 10th Edition but was postponed to 2022 due to the current Covid -19 Pandemic

The UON Dynamites player started as a footballer, played handball and volleyball and was also into music and poetry.
