Coronavirus: UEFA SUSPEND Champions League, Europa League and Euro 2020 qualifying play-offs indefinitely

UEFA’s Executive committee has announced all competitions will remain postponed until further notice due to the coronavirus pandemic.

European football’s governing body confirmed the news on Wednesday afternoon following a meeting with its 55 member associations to discuss strategy in the wake of the global health crisis.

SUSPENSION OF ALL SPORTING ACTIVITIES EFFECTIVE 13TH MARCH, 2020 UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

Following the Directive from the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Sports and Heritage, the Vice-Chancellor   and the affiliated Sports Federations, all sporting activities have been suspended effective 13th March, 2020 until further notice.

Please take note that all bookings for use of Sports field have been suspended.

The National University Basketball League kicks off this weekend.

The National University Basketball League a partnership between Robert Tumelo Group and Kenya University Sports Association will kick off tomorrow at Nyayo stadium.

 The University of Nairobi Men Basketball team (Terror) is ranked the top University team and  is among the prestigious University teams that has been selected for the competition.

The teams were selected based on their history in basketball, which included performance and commitment

It will be an honor to have all of you there to officially kick off the tournament and cheer our team

Mean Machine humbles South Coast Pirates 43-18 during the Kenya Cup match held at UON Grounds on 25th January 2020

As we are all aware, the Rugby team of UON, Commonly referred to as Mean Machine has been participating in the Kenya Rugby Union(KRU) league 2019/2020.Between the period, Mean Machine has played a total of eleven(11) matches. Out of the matches/Games, Mean Machine has won a total of nine (9) matches and narrowly lost three(3).The latest win being last weekend where they humbled south coast Pirates 43-18.
