The University of Nairobi Men’s Basketball Team, popularly known as The Terrorists, showcased outstanding performance at the Kenya Universities Sports Federation (KUSF) Nairobi South Conference, sealing their place among the top contenders heading toward the National Games scheduled for this December at the University of Eldoret.
Displaying discipline, teamwork, and sharp execution on both ends of the court, UoN closed the conference with an impressive series of victories. They opened their campaign with a 55–43 win over Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA), controlling the tempo from start to finish and showing early signs of their growing confidence. The momentum carried into the next fixture, where UoN overcame a determined JKUAT Karen side with a solid 70–59 triumph, pulling away in the late quarters through coordinated ball movement and resilient defence.
Their most dominant performance came against UMMA University, where UoN delivered a commanding 98–28 victory. From fast breaks to precision shooting, the team showcased depth across the roster and a competitive edge that has defined their season so far.
The UoN squad now turns full focus to the KUSF National Games in December at the University of Eldoret. The team enters the next phase with strong morale, clear ambition, and unwavering determination to represent the University of Nairobi with pride on the national stage.
UoN Basketball Men team continue to rise and all eyes are now on the National Games as they prepare to take their remarkable form into the final showdown of the year.
