Ferdinand Omanyala on Saturday the 15th of August 2021 set a new 100 meters national record after running a sub 10 second in Austria.
Fresh from the Tokyo Olympic Games where he twice broke his own record, Omanyala clocked 9.86s in 100m, just a few minutes after clocking 9.96s in a meet in Austria.
In the process, Omanyala beat his previous personal best time of 10.00 seconds set in Tokyo in the 100m semi-finals. Congratulations Omanyala
