The University of Nairobi (UON) emerged as the top university in the conference after delivering an outstanding performance during the just-concluded Kenya University Sports Federation (KUSF)–Nairobi South Conference (NASOKUSF) 2025/2026 Indoor Championships. The 2025/2026 season has been a landmark year for our teams, marked by exceptional performances across all indoor disciplines. From September 2025 to February 2026, our teams consistently demonstrated remarkable skill, discipline, teamwork, and resilience.

Mean Machine Fall 21–12 to South Coast Pirates, Shift Focus to Mwamba RFC

University of Nairobi Mean Machine suffered a 21–12 defeat to South Coast Pirates in a Kenya Rugby Union Championship match played over the weekend.

The encounter was a closely fought contest, with Mean Machine displaying strong defensive organization and competitive intent throughout the game. However, missed opportunities proved costly as South Coast Pirates made the most of key moments to secure the win.

UON Basketball, famously known as The Terrorists, have capped off an inspiring season defined by resilience, discipline, and relentless hard work. From intense training sessions to tough league battles, the team’s journey has been nothing short of remarkable.

Competing in a highly competitive Premier League, UON Basketball finished 8th overall, a testament to their growth and fighting spirit against some of the country’s top sides. But it was on the university stage where their true character shone brightest.
