UON BASKETBALL TEAM(DYNAMITES) WON 60-47 AGAINST KiSUMU LADY BUCKS TO QUALIFY FOR QUARTER FINALS

Dynamites ended their regular league campaign on 27 points after 18 matches and qualified for the KBF Premier National league playoffs. The team concluded their regular league season where they trounced Kisumu Lady Bucks 60-47 on Sunday at Nyayo Gymnasium.

Kisumu Lady Bucks played good basketball with a very close game thanks to Liz Okumu, Sharon Gaceri and Faith Atieno who carried the dynamites team. Liz Okumu led the University of Nairobi Dynamites to a 60-47 win over Kisumu Lady Bucks in a women's Premier League match at Nyayo Stadium gymnasium on Sunday. Okumu tallied 17 points and Sharon Gaceri registered 15 for UoN.

University of Nairobi (UON) Dynamites head coach Juma Kent is optimistic the young UoN students team will shine in the upcoming Kenya National women basketball playoffs.
