The University of Nairobi Football League that began in January 2015 came to an end last Saturday at School of Business. CAVS men’s football team successfully emerged the overall winner in the league and was declared the best College men’s football team at University of Nairobi.

The University Of Nairobi emerged the 2nd overall team in the just concluded 4th edition of the annual Kenya Universities Sports Association (KUSA) women national championships to be held on 7th and 8th march, 2015 at Africa Nazarene University.

This year’s theme wss “Make it happen” Teams composed of only female university student-athletes from over 25 Universities and University Colleges, both public and private participated in the two-day event.

The University of Nairobi teams participate in the ongoing East African Games 2014 held at Uganda Christian University Uganda Christian University (UCU) in Mukono from 17th to 20th December 2014. A total 56 universities from 5 countries are expected to participate in 18 sports disciplines. The opening ceremony that was presided over by the Chancellor of UCU, the Rt. Rev. Dr. Starnely Ntangali, who also doubles as the Arch. Bishop of the Church of Uganda.
