The University of Nairobi was represented in the Kenyatta University open by the indoor teams only. These teams held the UoN name high by coming out victorious in various
disciplines.

The UoN Chess Men and Women  came out on top of  their event. The Ladies Badminton team was he 1st runners up, while the Men Lawn Tennis team took the same position.

The University of Nairobi teams went on to shine at the week 4 NASOKUSA League held at the University's Main Campus Sports Grounds on the 8th and 9th October 2016.

In Netball, UoN trounced MMU 31-05. Soccer Men had UoN beating CUEA 1-0. The UoN Men Handball team beat MKS 26-13.

The University Of Nairobi emerged the 2nd overall team in the just concluded 4th edition of the annual Kenya Universities Sports Association (KUSA) women national championships to be held on 7th and 8th march, 2015 at Africa Nazarene University.

This year’s theme wss “Make it happen” Teams composed of only female university student-athletes from over 25 Universities and University Colleges, both public and private participated in the two-day event.
